Two Key Words:
- Bacon………Cream Cheese………
- Equals …………OMG…OMG….OMG
Well I’m sure you get the picture. These little chicken breast’s will have your kitchen taking on a new kind of yum.
*The key is to pre cook your bacon (I like to roast mine at 375 degrees for 25 mins in the oven). They cook up perfect. Make sure to let them cool completely before wrapping the chicken breasts.
*Here’s another tip – Make sure your cream cheese is (Philadelphia Cream Cheese) otherwise they just won’t come out as yummy.
Bacon Wrapped-Cream Cheese Chicken Breasts
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts (pounded and flattened)
- 1 package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
- 8 pieces of Smoked Applewood Bacon (Partially Cooked)
Instructions
- Pound out the chicken breast so it’s about ¼” thick
- Mix together cream cheese & green onions spread cream cheese mixture (2 tablespoons ) over 1 side of the chicken.
- Roll the chicken breast (make a little roll)
- Wrapped partially cooked bacon (2 strips each roll) and secure with a toothpick.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 30 mins
- After rolls are done cooking – Broil on High for 3 mins until Bacon is crisp.
